Building a wall of cabinets along the right side of my garage. this is my first time building cabinets. The garage seemed like a great place to start as they wont have to be perfect.

finished cutting the grooves for the door/drawer frames and I was able to get 90% of the way through the tenon cuts using my home made tenon jig!
Next up is to cut the 1/4" inner panel, then I can start assembling those drawers/doors and finally shift focus to how I want to build the bench top.

Assembled a singular cabinet door today. Not overly happy with how this one came out. It’s actually much smaller than I imagined and it will sit on top of the face rather than sit flush inside the cabinet.
It’s fine but definitely different than I imagined. In the future I will be measuring as I go (not just following plans blindly) and ensuring the project is exactly as I intend.

Over the last few nights I have slowly assembled the drawers and installed them in the cabinet carcasses.
I did end up making a small error in sizing due to following the plans I bought without measuring first. Again… these small errors are exactly why I started with garage cabinets. Still fairly proud of how they are coming together!

Ended up building a much larger table saw sled that will allow me to cross cut those larger quarter sheets.
I wasn’t happy with the results of using my Kreg cross cut jig with my circular saw.
I also finished cutting to size all of my drawer pieces with the smaller cross cut sled.

Late night (9pm) pocket hole drilling. I was able to cut all of the stretchers earlier today which allowed me to do this repetitive (and cathartic) process on 16 stretchers.
I was also able to assemble a few!

Decided to get most of the materials needed to build the remaining 4 cabinet carcasses.
I cut 3 sheets of 3/4” birch plywood into quarters and was able to fit it all into my Elantra. Truck not required.

I also ended up building my first table saw cross cut sled.
